WHO WE ARE

BBH is a full service agency with an exceptional record of producing creatively-driven communication that builds brands. We develop long relationships with our clients and still work with two of our founding clients – Audi and Levi’s – 25 years on.

We have produced some of the most famous advertising campaigns in Europe.  In 1982, we created Vorsprung Durch Technik; now a component of every single Audi made worldwide.  Our work for Levi's 'The Original Jean' began in 1982 and has included early TV ads such as Launderette, featuring Nick Kamen famously removing his Levi's 501s.  In the 1990s, we created a series of viral films featuring Flat Eric, a cool yellow puppet who became a cultural phenomonen.  Since 2000, we have produced campaigns such as Levi's Twister which won a coveted black D&AD pencil and Levi's Odyssey which became one of the most parodied commercials of all time.  In 2007, 'Dangerous Liaisons', the latest ad for Levi's was awarded a Cannes Gold.

In 1996, we launched 'The Lynx Effect' and helped Lynx's business more than double between 2000 and 2007 with phenomenon-creating campaigns including 2002's Pulse with its famous dance and the 2006 Click campaign which included a Ben Affleck TV spot
and won the coveted Grand Prix in the 2007 AAAAs.

BBH has won 14 Agency of the Year titles since 2000 and is the only ad agency to win Campaign magazine's Agency of the Year three years in a row (2003, 2004, 2005).  Over the years, BBH has won 34 IPA Effectiveness Awards and since 1993, 21 APG Strategy Awards: each case demonstrating the contribution of advertising to our clients' business.

In the last year, we have hired 27 new people across 7 new disciplines, from music to mobile, programming, gaming and digital production.  We have also created a fourth discipline to sit alongside Account Management, Account Planning and Creative: Engagement Planning, which brings media strategy back in-house and upfront in the creative development process.
