The “Demanding New Yorkers” campaign is intended to drive brand awareness and consideration amongst UK business travelers and focuses on the company’s in-depth understanding of what consumers’ value when they travel.  The new campaign also forms part of a long-term investment in the UK market which includes upgrades to the First and Business Class cabins.

Solution
The new “Demanding New Yorkers” campaign, developed by McCann Erickson London, explores this theme to amplify the new brand tagline, “We know why you fly”.   Set in New York, arguably the world’s most uncompromising city, the 40 second and two x 20 second spots features James Gandolfini and demonstrate how American Airlines satisfies even the world’s most exacting customers.
