DESCRIPTION
Brief
BT Yahoo! customers have access to a BT Yahoo! portal which offers a range of services, products and features. While 70% of customers visit the portal on a regular basis and watch videos on a new video player, people weren’t signing up for more products and services. We needed to develop a campaign that would raise the profile of these services and make customers sign up.
Solution
The team created four idents that ran on the new video player. As we had the ability to use video, we could communicate with customers in a quirky and entertaining way. Each ident introduced the world of Mearth – an animated world with two curious Mearthean characters. One Mearthean didn’t know about a particular product or service while the other would despair at his ignorance and reveal how useful it would be.
