Tony has been Planning Director at RMG connect since March 2007 where he worked on Sky customer marketing, the launch & roll out strategy for AOL in Europe & a new CRM approach directed at dental professionals for JJ ( Listerine ).

 

Prior to RMG (1993-2006), Tony was the Planning Director and partner of DP&A; an independent agency which the partners sold to FCBi in 2003. Tony helped to establish the early client base of the agency with Arjo Wiggins (Conqueror letterhead and other branded printing papers). Alberto Culver (haircare), and Abbey Life (financial services).

 

Tony’s ATL experience was a key element in achieving market differentiation for DP&A and helped to build its reputation as a Direct Agency which understood how to build brand equity at the same time as delivering responses and sales.  The stature of DP&A as a strategically led DM agency was ultimately confirmed when they became DMA agency of the year in 1996.

Tim joined RMG Connect as Chief Executive Officer of the London office in February 2007.  Prior to joining RMG, Tim had been Global Director of Relationship Marketing at FCBi working on establishing the networks global RM capabilities harnessing direct, data and digital skills and developing relationship marketing strategies on behalf of clients like Motorola and HP.

Prior to that Tim had been CEO/Managing Director at McCann Relationship Marketing (MRM) in London, part of The McCann Erickson WorldGroup of companies.  At MRM, Tim helped grow the agency from a start-up to a top 5 UK CRM agency with billings of £72.8 million.  He was involved in winning over 38 clients of varying size's including General Motors, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, L'Oreal, Marriott Hotels, Barclays Capital and Nestle.

Tim's first agency role was as Director of Data Planning at Tequila London part of the TBWA Network where he built and managed a highly profitable agency-based data planning department.  Tim also developed the data strategy to drive the multi-channel customer retention activity for BT.

Tim has won a number of awards for CRM and data strategy including the 2000 Direct Marketing magazine Gold intelligence award for best use of data on behalf of Nissan cars, and the 2002 Direct Marketing magazine Gold intelligence award for best CRM program on behalf of GM Opel.

Tim is a member of the IPA (Institute of Practioners in Advertising) Direct Marketing Futures Group committee and a qualified member of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Direct Marketing.

His hobbies are rugby, cricket, football, sailing, skiing, fishing, shooting, cooking, theatre, reading, and of course his three daughters Lottie, Freya and Holly.

Nima joined RMG Connect as Head of Digital of the London office in September 2007.  Prior to joining RMG, Nima was the CEO of an online comparison shopping site, Sale Near You. With over 60 leading offline retailers and a growing number of online retailers, Sale Near You was setting a new standard of shopping online in Australia.

Nima first began his career in the digital industry at global media agency BMCMedia during the heights of the .Com rise. During his time at BMC Media he grew within the ranks to become General Manager of BMCOptimise, BMC’s search engine marketing offering. He took the business from start up to Australia’s 3rd largest agency within 18 months and grew the service offering into BMC’s Singapore office.

At the completion of his tenure at BMC, Nima saw the opportunity to create a creative digital agency integrating search and emotionally responsive creative. 

In late 2003, Nima took up the role of CEO/Managing Director of digital agency Glass Onion.  At Glass Onion, Nima grew the agency from a modest begining to one of Australia’s top 20 digital agencies. He was involved in winning over 30 clients, including Yum Brands (Pizza Hut, KFC), Flight Centre, AMP, Nestle and Australia’s leading home loan provider – Rams Home loans. 

Over the span of his career Nima has judged numerous interactive awards and spoken at conferences on topic’s such as search, usability and digital marketing. He has held roles a executive member of Australian Federation of Advertising (AFA).

His hobbies are rugby, sailing, snow boarding, cooking, film, NLP, and reading.

Dave joined RMG Connect on 1st November 2007 as Executive Creative Director. 

Dave began his career at Above-the-line advertising agency Holmes Knight Ritchie working on accounts such as Grolsch Lager, London Zoo, Max Factor, Mary Quant, PanAm and Continental Airlines, Bristol & West Building Society, Glenmorangie Whisky and Saga Holidays.

In 1990 he moved to TBWA/London and rose to Group Head status and, latterly, Creative Partners. Here, he worked across a wide range of accounts including Nike, Nissan, Holsten Pils, Sony PlayStation, NatWest, Nikon, Wonderbra, Timberland, Apple, Cadbury’s, News International, Absolut Vodka, Seagram, Clarks, Science Museum, Goldfish Bank, Hasbro, Gatorade Worldwide, Virgin Megastores, Virgin Money and The Labour Party, and was recognised by D&AD, Campaign Posters, Campaign Direct, Cannes and New York Festivals.

After 12 years, Dave moved to Integrated Agency, Claydon Heeley Jones Mason as Joint Creative Director with his Art Director, Pete Harle, where they were tasked to improve standard and consistency of the agency’s creative output. Clients included Mercedes-Benz UK, 3 Mobile, T-Mobile, Egg, The Guardian, ING Direct, Goodyear/Dunlop and PlayStation. Within a short period of time, Claydon Heeley gained a strong reputation for effective and challenging creativity across Direct Marketing, Ambient media, Online and Sales Promotion channels.

Claydon Heeley was named Campaign’s Direct Agency of the Year in 2004 and Runners-up in 2006.  They were also Runners-up for Marketing Magazine’s Direct Agency of the Year. Dave has been named in Campaign’s top 10 best Creative Director’s for both 2004, 2005 and 2006.
