Paul is the Financial Director of VCCP. Following qualification as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London in 1989, he spent 12 years at HHCL and Partners helping it grow from a small hotshop to a Marketing Communications group and eventual merger with Chime Communications plc. He is responsible for all financial dealings of VCCP and individual client accounts.

Michael started his career in 1995 as a management trainee in Hong Kong with Swire Pacific, whose portfolio included brands such as Cathay Pacific, Coca Cola and Carlsberg. On his return to London he moved to Claydon Heeley before joining HHCL in 1999. At HHCL he was Account Director on Pot Noodle, Bacardi Martini, Yahoo, FIFA and UEFA. Michael joined VCCP in 2002 on its first day of business and has managed O2 from launch in addition to re-launching Diet Coke, Trebor and the world famous Coca Cola Piccadilly site. He was made a Partner in 2004 and was made Managing Partner in January 2006. His client side and through-the-line experience give him an excellent understanding of the marketing mix and business reality.

Sophie started life on the WPP Fellowship, giving her a fabulous opportunity to sample the wider riches of the marketing world – from PR to market research. She started her planning career in Australia, working on government projects such as Youth Binge Drinking and Illicit Drugs amongst others, before returning to the Motherland three years later. After a stint at MCBD working on Benecol, Splenda and Total, she joined the rapidly growing VCCP 4 years ago. She helped pitch and win Fedex, Wedgwood, Appletiser, Trebor and Dyson, and currently works on 02 and Dyson. Now a partner at VCCP, her proudest planning moments have been being part of the IPA Effectiveness Awards Grand Prix in 2004, and IPA Effectiveness Gold award in 2006 for O2.

Dale has over a decade of experience working with some of the biggest brands in the UK and some of its feistier challenger brands. After a stint as a very poor anthropologist in Melbourne, he left his native Australia to join WCRS where he worked on The National Lottery and Land-Rover. In order to break a £10 a day scratch-card habit, he moved to JWT where his duties included a dangerous combination of breakfast cereal (Kellogg's) and alcohol (Baileys and Malibu). His time there included award winning campaigns for Kellogg's Corn Flakes, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, the RAF and Malibu. He moved to VCCP in 2003 where his work has included O2 and ING Direct and the re-launch of Jordans Cereals and Capri-Sun.

VCCP online is headed up by Steve Vranakis. He brings over 10 years experience in both the on and off-line worlds of advertising. His creative flair is grounded by a strong strategic and business acumen. He believes great campaigns are all in the detail and creates advertising that breaks conventions and re-writes rules. He desires not only to produce some of the most talked about ads in the world, but to make his clients rockstars and their brands famous.

Ian started below-the-line and migrated to advertising, with excellent integrated credentials.  From Account Executive at IMP in 1986 to Managing Director of HHCL in 1999 and now Founding Partner of VCCP, Ian’s career has spanned 20 years working with numerous clients from Guinness to O2.

In terms of financial experience, Ian has worked on the following accounts:- TBS, First Direct, the launch of Egg, National Savings and the launch of ING Direct.

Adrian Coleman started out as a client and his strengths lie, not only in cohesive and hard hitting campaigns, but in client focus and business understanding  experience that means he understands the marketing mix.

He has the ability to highly motivate teams, produce fast results which are equally balanced with fun. He creates work that makes an impact in the marketplace, and loves to ensure that both the client and the agency win.

Before starting VCCP, he was the Chief Exec of AMD (Chime owned) where he oversaw the media company publishing, design, on-line as well as advertising.

Rooney is renowned throughout advertising as being one of the most inspiring Creative Directors in the business.  He has a distinguished pedigree, working on a range of accounts (Orange, BMW, Sony, Land Rover, Levi’s) in some of the largest agencies in London (BBH & WCRS) and San Francisco (FCB).  He has been responsible for many award winning campaigns, most recently O2 who won both Gold and the Grand Prix at the IPA Effectiveness Biennial Awards.

Having graduated from Nottingham University in 1986, Charles has worked as an account planner for various agencies including RSCG and BBH.

In 2002 he decided he’d start working for himself and, along with his three partners, set up VCCP. Their founding Client was O2, to whom they are eternally grateful.

Over the last two decades, Charles has worked on and, in some cases, helped launch a diverse range of iconic brands including O2, ING Direct, Orange, Sony, BMW, Land Rover, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Heineken and Dyson.
