Penny Herriman, Managing Director

Penny Herriman

Penny started her advertising career in 1993, fresh from studying French at university and completing a Masters in International Marketing. She then joined Leo Burnett in 1995 as an Account Manager working on several brands including Kelloggs, Heinz and John West.

In 1998 Penny joined BBH working her way up the ranks from Account Director to Head of Account Management which she ran for four years.

She was appointed to the Board after two years at BBH and became Group Business Director in 2004 responsible for Unilever, Vodafone and Barnardo's. In Autumn 2008 Penny joined WCRS as Managing Director. She is a real force for creativity.

Leon Jaume, Executive Creative Director

Leon Jaume

Leon started his career in advertising as a copywriter, working at a number of top agencies before becoming the 14th member of staff at the brand new WCRS. Since then he has left twice but has always returned to the WCRS fold. He has been back for over 9 years, now as Executive Creative Director. 

Leon has diminished his chances of straying again by becoming one of the Founding Partners in buying out the agency from Havas.

Yan Elliott, Creative Director

Yan Elliott

Luke began his career as a Graphic Designer, classically trained in Typography and Design. Yan has had more of a traditional life in advertising. Trained at Watford College, he went on to work at GGT, HHCL and Mother, where he and Luke teamed up. They have worked together for 10 years creating award winning work including Supernoodles, Orange, Kiss 100, Doctor Pepper and Coca-Cola. They were recently voted Number 1 in an Esquire magazine poll to find "the most sought-after purveyors of original thought".

Luke Williamson, Creative Director

Luke Williamson

Clare Hutchinson, Head of Planning

Clare Hutchinson

Clare joined from AMV where she specialized in behaviour change communications working on Tobacco Control for the Department of Health, the Think! Road Safety for the Department for Transport as well as Responsible Drinking for Diageo. In addition to encouraging the nation to cut back on ciggies, booze and to drive safer she also worked on the BBC & The Economist.

She joined WCRS as Head of Planning in 2008.

Matt Ross, New Business Director

Matt Ross

<html><body>Matt began his career at Ogilvy and Mather as a graduate trainee. In 2003 he joined DDB spending the next 6 years helping to develop award winning work for Volkswagen. Having been named a ‘Face to Watch’ by Campaign in 2008, Matt joined WCRS at the start of 2009. Matt is responsible for leading the Agency’s new business and marketing effort. <br id="-moz-br-">

Debbie Klein, Chairman

Debbie Klein

Debbie joined Saatchi & Saatchi as a Strategic Planner in 1993.  She was promoted to the board of Saatchi & Saatchi in 1996 at the age of 27, and joined WCRS the following year.

In 2004, she became one of the Founding Partners of WCRS through the management buyout, and was promoted to Chief Executive in 2005. Debbie is author of “Women in Advertising:  10 years on” and has also recently held the position of President of WACL (Women in Advertising and Communications in London).

Robin Wight, President

Robin Wight

In 1979 Robin helped found WCRS and 28 years on he still believes that advertising is the most fun you can have with your clothes on - WCRS being the most fun of all.

Though he has spent his whole career in advertising, Robin has always had a number of outside interests and for the last three years has been working on a study looking at the way the brain processes communications built on the latest learning from evolutionary psychology, cognitive psychology, and neuroscience.
