In May 2006, Mel took on the role of Marketing and Sales Director for the agency and is now responsible for managing a clients experience through all the stages, from pitch to appointment.
Simon James
Planning Director - Data Strategy

Simon joined WWAV’s planning department in January 2003 after working across a variety of market sectors both in consumer and business to business marketing. He has overseen many important data strategy projects for companies such as Lloyds TSB, Somerfield and Ladbrokes. And in September 2004, Direct Response magazine heralded Simon as being one of the ‘Power 50 in data’ because of his contributions to and successes within the industry.
Samantha Nolan

Sam was appointed Managing Director of the London office in May 2007. Before this appointment, she was Head of Client Service tasked with delivering best-in-class client servicing. Sam launched her direct marketing career on the client side with Commercial Union, who were just establishing their direct operation. Sam joined WWAV Rapp Collins in 1995. She has extensive experience in the charity, financial services, B2B, telecoms, loyalty and ISP sectors and has been involved in a number of integrated brand launches.

Nick and Barney, joined WWAV in 2002 and were made creative directors in 2005. They began their careers at DP&A and, after gaining experience at BHWG, TBWA/GGT Direct and Saatchi & Saatchi, opened their own integrated agency, Alphabet. Nick and Barney were awarded the Graeme Robertson Award for the best under-30 team in the UK. They've also won a D&AD, an LIA, an Epica, and a Grand Prix for Best Cinema Commercial of the Year.
Gavin Hilton

Gavin joined WWAV Rapp Collins as our first strategic planner back in 1995 and developed the discipline at the agency over the next 6 years. He also launched WWAV’s market research function, which now services our clients across Europe. He moved to our Omnicom sister agencies Tequila and Proximity in 2001 to work on Hewlett Packard, Masterfoods, Yell, Sainsbury's and more. Gavin returned to WWAV in January of 2007 and took on overall responsibility for the strategic planning function.

Alexandra (Alex) Stoneham

Alex overseas all digital marketing and online communications for both current and prospective clients. Most recently she worked for an e-commerce development agency, where she honed her technical marketing skills. Prior to that she worked at Harrison Troughton Wunderman as the Engagement Director. This senior role saw her managing a portfolio of digital marketing work for a range of clients including Microsoft, Ford of Britain/Europe, Land Rover and Adidas.
Marco Scognamiglio

Marco's sole focus is on making sure WWAV maintains a breadth and depth of communication skills unrivalled by any other agency so as to give our clients a unfair competitive advantage within their marketplace. Marco has been with WWAV London since 1999 when he joined us as Client Services Director. He moved northward in 2001 where he became managing director of our Edinburgh agency. In April 2004 he returned to London to take on the role of managing director here.
